Choosing Slow

Welcoming a new season seems to be the only thing on my mind these days. My children are so eager for summer, and I too share in their excitement for warm days, fireflies, and campfires. I am trying to be more intentional with my quiet time. The world is loud, and I have so many ideas capturing my attention. So many people and tasks pulling me this way and that way. Honestly, in this season I have good things that are taking up my time. Well, things that I could…

I had an expensive lavender colored stethoscope around my neck and my new badge hooked onto my pocket. This badge held my first professional title, “PCA” (aka,…

November 2019 God called me to an assignment. He came to me in a dream. I knew it was Him as I was beginning to recognize when the Holy Spirit would nudge me from within. In my dream there was a book cover with the title, The Change in Us. It was plain white with…

Are you familiar with the ten commandments? You probably thought to yourself, ‘yes of course.’ I thought I was too. I do know the ten commandments enough to tell you what they are, probably not in the right order as they are laid out in the bible, but I could ramble them off if asked. …
