About The Stover's

The Stover’s Bio

Jayson Stover needed a “girl” singer for a show his band had booked in 2003.  Heather happened to be in the room when he made the announcement and admitted she could sing.  The two couldn’t deny their mutual love for music and eventually one another and were married three years later.

Jayson’s beautiful guitar playing, and Heather’s sweet soft voice soon became a sound that attracted many ears.

The Stover’s spent their first 15 years together performing cover songs to earn an income while writing music that chronicled their journey together.  Those years were rough years for the duo, but the struggles lightened greatly when they both came to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.

The two were led to become worship leaders in 2018 and served in the Church doing just that for nearly five years.  During those years in that Church, they were discipled and grew strong in their faith.

Heather wrote about this journey in detail in her book The Change in Us.

About The Music

About The Album

The duo was called away from their position in that Church building in October of 2022 as God clearly revealed in months leading up to their departure, that the season of their life there was coming to an end.  After much praying and seeking the Lord in the change, doors were opened, and a clear vision was revealed before them.

God made it clear that it was time to record the songs that they had been writing for nearly two decades.

Quote:  From Heather

“Vitale is helping us take our stripped-down simple songs and bring them to life.  We are so thankful for his help, talent, and patience in this process.”  Joe is not only an incredible musician with a keen ear, but he has also become a friend and we now know him as our brother in Christ.”  What a blessing!
